Dr. Abraham Kuranga - Specializing in Internal and Aesthetic Medicine
After earning his doctor of medicine from the Ross University School of Medicine in Miami, Florida, Dr. Abraham Kuranga completed a residency in internal medicine, pediatrics, and geriatrics through East Carolina University/Vidant Medical Center in Greenville, North Carolina. He subsequently trained in pediatric pulmonary medicine at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, Ohio. Dr. Abraham Kuranga authored several peer-reviewed articles related to pediatric pulmonary medicine, including “Filling in the Gaps: Implantable Bronchial Valves in Pediatric Patients with Persistent Leaks” and “Fibrosing Mediastinitis: A Review of Epidemiology, Diagnosis and Management.”
Dr. Kuranga went on to train with world renowned cosmetic surgeons with a focus on minimally invasive procedures to improve the appearance and health of patients. While he can still provide primary care, he primarily specializes in aesthetic medicine as both the physician and medical director of Cincinnati’s A Touch of Energy Aesthetics. In addition to providing clinical treatments such as liposuction and RF micro-needling, A Touch of Energy Aesthetics serves as a therapeutic spa with services such as facials and massage.
